Flatland is an experimental approach on communicating shifts in dimensions and text tonality through typography. The reader follows the protagonist, a square, through worlds filled with geometrical characters. The book is divided into two parts. The first one introduces the world of Flatland and its many rules. In the second one the protagonist travels through other dimensions. Their characteristics are mirrored in the typographic layout, letting the reader experience the shifts of the different worlds.
