Memories of 
the Past

My uncle wrote a book about our family history, and memories from his childhood and youth. He accompanied his writing with about 400 pictures, documents, postcards, maps, drawings and journal entries. It was an interesting challenge to create a design, which balances the about 50/50 split of text and pictures. The big titles, together with some picture-only spreads, create pauses in the otherwise dense layout.
